I ran into my past again,
a yesterday to see.

I ran into my memories,
before I had known the real me.

Before you were my best friend,
I didnt have to act like things didnt matter and I didnt have to try.

Before you chanced your loving heart,
I hadn't learned how it felt to cry.

Before I learned you loved me,
and I knew that I had always loved you, too.

Before my heart was terribly broken,
which I never thought you could do.

Before I learned that I could not live,
without you here for me.

Before I tried to move on from you,
for I had lost all my reasons for living, now you can see.

Before I yearned for your friendship,
after months of so much more.

Before I learned that it would never be the same,
I wished upon a shooting star before we even met, and that wish I wished came true but
now it will never be true again.

Before I close my eyes and go to sleep tonight I pray for another bright
shooting star to appear and so I can wish for all nights
before this one will all disappear.

Wow, it's really sad it reminds me off going out with someone right off the bat then breaking up with them after an ugly fight and hope that you all can be friends in the end, then while your in the darkness of your room u want to wish on another shooting star as a way of making the pain go away. This is really good and very in-depth.
